Is it important for plastic waste to be clean?

Although we prefer plastic waste to be clean and empty, we are open to accepting contaminated items, such as those that are wet, dirty or have any residue. However, these items would receive a lower rebate value.

Can I make money from plastic recycling?

Yes! Plastics are valuable materials which can be repurposed into new products. Plastic recycling offers some of the highest rebates within waste management. There are many different types of plastic, and each type can be available in different forms and colours. It is essential to know what the plastic you have is and the best way to prepare it to redeem the greatest value.
