Domestic
Will the truck with the skip fit through my gate?
Yes, our trucks will fit through gateposts which are 9ft wide. Please note that skips placed on your private property are done so at your own risk.
Should the skip go on the road or on my drive?
The skip can be placed anywhere on your private property, such as your driveway, without requiring a permit, but we only recommend smaller, lighter skips such as the 3YD or 4YD to be placed on driveways as anything heavier such as 8YD skips containing soil or heavy waste may damage them. Should you wish for the skip to be placed on the road, however, you will require a permit from your local authority. Please note that skips placed on your private property are done so at your own risk.
Can you lift the skip over my wall?
Yes, we can lift skips containing light mixed waste over a 3ft wall. Please note that skips placed on your private property are done so at your own risk.
Trade waste/wheelie bins
What are your bin sizes?
Our wheelie bin range spans from 240 litres, to 660 and even 1,100 litre units. For large volumes of waste, we can also supply a rear-end loader service with 8, 14 and 16 yard REL sizes available.
What is your lift price?
To get a quote, contact our sales department on or alternatively, use the quick quote form on our website.
What areas do you cover?
We cover the areas of Stokes-on-Trent, Crewe, Newcastle Under Lyme and Stafford, as well as the surrounding regions.
What days are areas attended?
This depends on your specific postcode area, but we do cover most postcode areas daily.
How fast can the bin be delivered?
We can deliver to most customers the next day – we endeavour to make all deliveries within 24 hours of booking.
For customers in awkward access sites, will the driver bring the bin to the vehicle?
Yes, as long as the bin is not too heavy and distance is reasonable – this will be discussed with our Sales Representative on the initial site audit.
What are your 1100 litre wheelie bin dimensions?
Width 1.20m Depth 1.00m Height 1.20m
Skips and Roll-on/offs
What skip sizes do you offer?
Our skips are available in sizes from 3YD to 35YD, with our roll-on roll-off skips available at 20YD and 35YD. Take a look at our commercial skip sizes page for more details on our range.
How much weight can be handled?
3yd = 3 tonnes / 4yd = 4 tonnes / 8yd = 8 tonnes / 14yd = 8 tonnes 20yd = 15 tonnes / 35yd = 15 tonnes (14yd chain lift and 35yd roll-on roll-off are for bulky waste) Maximum tonnage handled is based on the vehicle lifting the skip, not just the weight that the skip can hold. Our chain lift skip loader vehicle can lift up to 8 tonnes, and our roll-on roll-off vehicle can lift up to 15 tonnes.
What can/can’t go in the skip?
Any construction waste can go into your skip, provided that it is none of the following: oil and petrol, asbestos, printing inks, liquid and clinical waste, gas bottles, fluorescent tubes, white goods, solvents, televisions and computer screens, creosote, upholstered furniture (POPs) and tyres. We can arrange separate disposal for these hazardous and difficult waste streams.
Access to bin by vehicle on site
Roll-on roll-off vehicles need approximately 20 ft (6 meters) length and 9ft (2.75 meters) width of floor space in order collect any roll-on roll-off container. A roll-on roll-off bin is 20ft and the truck is 30ft, allowing for the hook to be 5ft. A total of 55ft in a straight line is required. A skip loader for a 8-14yd skip is 12ft and the truck is 21.5ft, allowing 4ft for arms. A total of 37.5ft in a straight line is required.
What are your prices?
For prices, contact our traffic department on 01782 816520 or [email protected]. Alternatively, use the quick quote form on our website.
