SOLMEC Machines

In 2023, we invested in two new Solmec machines from E H Hasell & Sons Ltd, as part of our initiative to process waste in the most environmentally friendly manner
possible.

One of the key features of the Solmec 5020ZE machines is their battery-operated design. These machines, equipped with twin batteries operating in parallel, offer a cleaner and more efficient alternative to traditional diesel-powered equipment.

The central feature of the Solmec 5020ZE is its regenerative braking system. The electric motor captures and recovers energy generated whenever the upper structure slows down, converting it into electrical energy.

This recovered energy is stored in the batteries, ensuring a continuous and sustainable power supply for the machine’s operations.
