Once again, Brown Recycling is proud to be the main sponsor of the Dougie Mac Christmas Treecycle, a major fundraiser for the Hospice.
If you’re planning to have a real Christmas tree this year and want an easy, hassle-free way to dispose of it after the festivities, book a collection slot with Treecycle and support a worthy cause while ensuring your tree is recycled properly!
Brown Recycling has been a proud supporter of the Dougie Mac Christmas Tree Collection since 2017. Our involvement includes providing volunteers and vehicles for the tree collections, hook lift services at collection points, tree storage facilities at our site and tree recycling. We also provide office space as a hub for volunteers working with Dougie Mac. In 2023 we helped collect and recycle an impressive 1,677 trees!
Angie Dawson, Senior Business and Community Fundraiser at Dougie Mac, commented:

This year, members of the Brown team have also gone the extra mile, participated in various fundraising activities, including our Christmas Jumper Day, all of which help raise vital funds for the hospice.”
