Bulk Liquid Waste Collection

Bulk waste refers to waste produced and stored in large volumes, typically not containerised into small
packages. This includes:

  • Bulk liquid waste
  • Wastewater and contaminated water
  • Oils and fuels
  • Sludges and residues
  • Tank and interceptor contents
  • Contaminated soils and aggregates

Bulk waste may be hazardous or non-hazardous, depending on its composition.
Effective bulk waste management requires specialist handling to ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and environmental protection. As bulk waste is generated in high volumes and may be reactive or harmful, it presents specific risks that must be carefully controlled. Hazardous bulk waste, in particular, requires appropriate testing, transport, and disposal. Effective management helps prevent spills, leaks, environmental contamination, pollution incidents, health and safety risks, and any breaches of legal requirements.

Brown Recycling provides end-to-end solutions for bulk liquids, sludges, and contaminated materials, backed by chemist-led assessments and fully licensed disposal routes. We support customers across Staffordshire, Cheshire, and the Midlands.

If you are based outside of these areas or have sites spread across the UK, we offer full nationwide coverage too. All bulk waste is transported by licensed waste carriers and delivered to permitted treatment or disposal facilities approved to handle bulk and hazardous waste streams.
