Brown Recycling Continues Expansion with new Site Acquisition

Expansion Announcement

We’re pleased to announce the newest investment in Brown Recycling’s continued expansion: the acquisition of a fourth site on Sneyd Hill, Stoke-on-Trent with an investment of £750,000. The new site is located just a few metres away from Vanguard House, our HQ, and represents a major investment in our future as we continue to seek opportunities to offer our waste management services in new territories.

This newly secured plot spans over an acre and includes a refurbished office and stores area. The additional space will allow us to centralise key operations, ease pressure on our current three facilities, and improve overall efficiency as the business expands and grows.  It also provides the flexibility to adapt and scale our operations in line with customer demand and wider industry developments, ensuring we remain at the forefront of leading total waste management across the region.

New Management

With this expansion comes new leadership and employee opportunities. We are delighted to announce key promotions for two of our long-serving employees:

  • Sid Whitehead has been appointed Site Manager alongside his existing position of Engineering Manager
  • Dean Mirza will be stepping up as Site Supervisor

Both Sid and Dean have been with the business for a number of years, bringing a wealth of experience, professionalism, and leadership, and will be significant in driving the success of the new site and its operations.  Their appointments demonstrate our continued commitment to not only investing in infrastructure but also in our people, who aid in the continued success of Brown Recycling.

This expansion is so much more than just a building and site acquisition; it reflects our long-term stability and vision. We’re dedicated to providing quality service, investing in our employees, and remaining the leading independent waste management provider in Staffordshire, Cheshire and the Midlands. Investment in the new plot is an exciting step forward, and we’ll be sharing updates as the site – named Plot 3 by default until we have a more appropriate name – becomes fully operational and begins to contribute to our day-to-day operations.

As we continue to invest in our facilities, our people, and our community, we remain focused on setting new standards for environmental responsibility and service excellence. This milestone reflects our belief that growth and sustainability go hand in hand, paving the way for the future for Brown Recycling, our customers, and the Staffordshire region we’re proud to serve.

New Vacancies

As our business continues to go from strength to strength, we’re excited to announce several brand-new job opportunities across our driving and site operations teams.

With expansion into new areas comes increased demand, and there’s never been a better time to join us.
