Dougie Mac Christmas Tree Collections 2024

For the fifth year running, our unique Christmas Tree collection in partnership with the Dougie Mac Hospice is back. Once again, we are ready to do our bit for the community by sponsoring the collection and helping a great cause.

Dougie Mac Brown Recycling Tree Collection 2024

What is the Dougie Mac Tree Collection?

We are offering to collect and recycle your real Christmas tree in exchange for a minimum donation of £15.00 to the Dougie Mac Hospice.

When you take part in the Christmas tree collection, you will be helping to support a fantastic cause while also being kind to the environment.

Who is Dougie Mac?

The Dougie Mac Hospice provides hospice services free of charge to adults, young adults and children living with a life-limiting illness in Stoke-on-Trent, North Staffordshire and the surrounding villages, as well as offering supportive care for their families and carers.

They are celebrating their 50th anniversary this year, and they have always strived to go that extra mile to provide a warm, friendly and peaceful environment both at the hospice or in a family’s home.

How do your donations help?

£20.00 could pay for a session of play therapy for a child, which is like counselling but uses play as a form of expression.

£32.00 could pay for a counselling session, whether it’s a child who’s lost a brother or sister, or a wife whose husband is in his final days.

£50.00 could pay for Lymphoedema treatment, which gives much needed relief from painful and uncomfortable symptoms.

£100.00 could pay for wi-fi and electronics to enable patients to stay in touch with their families over the Christmas period.
