By moving across to these new brown bins, we are helping reduce the demand for virgin materials as well as reducing our carbon footprint too.
How are the brown recycled bins made?
Traditional commercial wheelie bins are typically made from virgin plastic, which is derived from petroleum and contributes to greenhouse gas emissions during the production process.
However, our new fully recycled bins follow a different production process based on using plastic waste, such as old wheelie bins and other plastic products. The plastic is then melted down and moulded into new wheelie bins, making them 100% recycled plastic.
Not only are the new brown recycled bins less harmful to the environment, they also provide the same level of durability and reliability as conventional wheelie bins.
