We are thrilled to announce that Brown Recycling has received recognition in the 2024 Best Companies Big Reveal, following a comprehensive employee survey earlier this year. We were proud to have earned a 1-star rating as a “Very Good” company to work based on our employee survey and, additionally, the following rankings in the annual Best Companies Awards:

Laura Norburn, HR Advisor, has shared her thoughts on the recent accolades: “Employee Engagement Surveys are a great way to understand what works well within the business and where challenges lie. When we launched our first BC Survey in May, it was with complete anonymity of what the results may be. To find out in June that we had gained a 1 Star was exciting alone but to then find out that out of 100s of business and for our first time implementing the survey, we succeeded in getting within the Top 10 in the Utilities Sector, Top 50 in the West Midlands and Top 100 in Mid-Sized Companies was an amazing accomplishment and was wholly down to our employees.

The results give us an opportunity to continue to develop from the feedback and look at changes for the future alongside our company values. I personally am incredibly proud of our business and employees and look forward to reaching new milestones together”.
