Commercial Aggregates Recycling

It’s not easy to know what you need for each project in terms of materials, which is why it’s not uncommon for businesses to over order on aggregates.

Here at Brown Recycling, we offer a first-rate commercial aggregate recycling service for construction businesses throughout Staffordshire, Cheshire and the Midlands. Plus, if you have sites across the country, we can also provide national service for recycling.

At our fully licensed, state-of-the-art recycling facilities, we can take all of your unused aggregates and repurpose them, directing your waste away from landfill and back onto a different construction site.

Aggregate Waste Recycling

Our services are designed to work around you, so just let us know what sort of collection schedule suits you, and we’ll make it work. When you choose us, you can always expect our service to be dependable and compliant, giving you peace of mind that you’re working with a quality waste management partner.

For more information about our commercial aggregates collections, all you have to do is get in touch, and a member of our team will tell you everything you need to know.

Aggregate Recycling FAQs
Do you accept demolition waste?

Yes, we accept all types of demolition waste including concrete, wood, bricks, metal, plastic, insulation, glass and asbestos (hazardous), which is organised by our hazardous waste team.

How are aggregates segregated?

Hardcore, soil, sand and stone are segregated at our facility for re-use in the construction industry and land restoration and remedial projects. Our trommel system (end to end at over 45 metres in length) has a 9×3 metres recycling drum to extract soil fraction. Mechanical separation is then used to separate the larger fractions of aggregates as part of the segregation process for mixed construction/demolition waste.

What type of aggregrates waste do you accept?

We accept all types of aggregates including hardcore, soil, sand, stone and inert waste.

What are the benefits of aggregate recycling?

By recycling your aggregates, you can help to conserve natural resources. We help you recycle aggregates so they can be put back into use rather than being sent to landfill. This also helps to reduce the amount of carbon emissions involved in sourcing new materials.

What can recycled aggregates be used for?

Recycled aggregates have many uses, particularly in construction work. They can be used to create roads, for decorative purposes in landscaping, as filler material or even in concrete production.
